Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

Revire provides retail operating software. For data you enter into the product about your own business and customers, you are the controller and we are the processor. For data you give us directly — a demo enquiry, an email — we are the controller.

What we collect

When you contact us

  • Your name, work email, phone number if you give one, and the number of shops you run
  • The content of your message

When you use the product

  • Account and user records: name, email, role, assigned location
  • Operational data you enter: products, stock, transactions, customers, staff, payroll and credit records
  • Technical logs: sign-in times, IP address, actions taken, and errors — kept so we can investigate faults and misuse

When you visit this website

See the Cookie Policy.

Why we hold it

  • To provide the service — performing our contract with you
  • To keep it secure and working — our legitimate interest in a system that does not break or get abused
  • To answer you — your request, when you contact us
  • To meet legal obligations — tax, accounting and lawful requests

Who else sees it

We do not sell data and we do not share it for advertising. It is disclosed only to:

  • Infrastructure providers hosting the servers your database runs on
  • Payment providers where you use them — Flutterwave for card and transfer settlement
  • Systems you choose to connect, such as Zoho, and only what that connection requires
  • Authorities, where the law requires it

Where it lives

Each business’s data sits in a database of its own. There is no shared table between accounts. Revire staff access production data only to resolve a fault or at your request, and that access is logged.

How long we keep it

  • Operational data: for as long as your account is open, and for 30 days after closure so you can retrieve it
  • Enquiries: 24 months
  • Technical logs: 12 months
  • Records we must keep for tax or accounting: as long as the law requires

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and equivalent law elsewhere, you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or export it. Write to hello@revire.one and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Getting your data out

You do not need to invoke a legal right to export. Products, stock, customers, transactions and balances export from the product whenever you want them, without asking us.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
